Microbiome Mapping is an emerging diagnostic system with the objective of “digging deeper” into the health of one’s microbiome.

Using stool analysis, a skilled clinical is able to assess the concentrations of healthy and unhealthy gut bacteria—what’s overgrown, what’s lacking, and what’s missing entirely.

Inflammation and other markers of poor digestion are also assessed and used to “map out” one’s biome. Believe it or not, but you can actually have an overgrowth of healthy bacteria that can throw off the balance in your gut and cause issues!

Thus, it’s not just about getting rid of the “bad bugs” it’s about balancing all the bugs in the ratios they truly need to be in.

This is an emerging science, so there’s a lot more to learn, but you can rest assured that the team at NutriChem goes above and beyond with our Microbiome Mapping, seeing we also look at the whole digestive environment.

This is done by assessing the health of the epithelial layer in the gut lining, the status of bile salts and stomach acid, and overall digestive organ function. Further, seeing the gut is so intimately connected with other critical functions, whether one is suffering from inflammation and subsequent immune activation is also assessed.

Each one of us has a unique case; thus, have a unique gut environment which is why it is highly recommended to get a precise look at what is happening in the gut. This then sets the stage for a personalized protocol for effective healing.
