The team at our Integrative Pharmacy and Naturopathic Clinic is led by Kent Macleod, an internationally recognized thought leader, award-winning pharmacist and published author. Kent has over 30 years of clinical experience in delivering patient-centred, personalized, evidence-based health care. He is a recognized expert on women’s health issues, ortho-nutrition and the microbiome. He also has a special interest in deprescribing, addictions, cravings and mental health. Naturopathic Doctors

NutriChem’s naturopathic doctors are compassionate advocates for holistic healthcare. They have an enthusiastic approach to determining the root cause of complex health conditions and welcome the challenge of determining an achievable treatment plan. All of our naturopathic doctors have completed the training required in order to prescribe additional therapeutics, such as bio-identical hormones and IV Vitamin therapy. They have also all obtained their doctorates from the Canadian College of Naturopathic Medicine.

Dr. Sophie is a Naturopathic Doctor and Sports Nutritionist with a passion for evidence-based approaches to supporting her patient’s health. Prior to obtaining her doctorate in Naturopathic Medicine, Dr. Sophie completed her undergraduate degree in Human Kinetics at the University of Guelph. She is also a personal trainer with over 8 years of experience.

Her experience as a trainer ignited her passion to pursue a career in healthcare and help others towards feeling their best. Dr. Sophie combines her expertise in exercise physiology and naturopathic medicine to support her patients towards achieving weight loss, improving performance and aiding in pain management. She goes beyond symptom management and utilizes a full-body approach to get to the root of health concerns. Dr. Sophie possesses additional qualifications from the International Society of Sports Nutrition (ISSN) and Functional Range Conditioning (FRC®)

Grace understands that everyone experiences menopause differently and that there is no “one-size-fits-all” approach. Alongside her patients, she explores how they can achieve their individual goals for optimal health.

Dr.Adam Livingston in Pharmacy

Dr. Adam has helped many patients navigate the complex Canadian Medical Cannabis system. He understands the intricacies of cannabis therapeutics, including forms, ratios, dosages and interactions with other medications.

As a pharmacist at our in-house medical cannabis clinic, Adam believes prescription drugs can be a useful tool in a healthcare provider’s toolbox. However, for many chronic conditions, they simply aren’t that effective and can be very difficult to discontinue. As the Deprescribing Program Coordinator, Adam helps to guide some patients away from harmful drugs, such as proton pump inhibitors, benzodiazepines and sleeping pills through our deprescribing program.
